I bought this teapot as my older one was leaking. This pot is great, however the temperature gauge gets water in it due to condensation. There is a water build up in it. I hope it dries up. If not then I will be returning it. I did wind up returning this teapot.

It’s gorgeous sitting on the counter. I thought I wouldn’t care that it doesn’t have preset temperature settings, but after having them on a previous electric kettle, I wish this did have settings. Also wish I realized it does have a spout cover so the spout is always uncovered. But again, it’s very pretty so it’ll stay for a while.
I like it, but compared to the cheaper electric kettles that I had before, it takes longer to boil, and it is not convenient to fill the water, but overall I am satisfied.

I learned about these on a trip to England. No need for an ugly coffee machine on your counter. Just buy this and a french press. No need for coffee filters! Its quicker and more fun than a coffee machine!!

Pros:Heats up water fast. Looks nice on the counter. Holds enough water for four David's Tea mugs. Pours well. The kettle part comes away from the base, so you can carry it to another room without cord problems. Interior surfaces are all stainless steel.Cons:The kettle part gets hot; be careful with the lid right after use or you'll get a handful of steam. Has a 'warm plastic' smell at first but it's going away as we use it.Other:We took a chance on an item without many ratings, and it paid off this time.
Turn off automatically when is hot. Stays hot for a while. So I don’t have to warm it up again right away. It doesn’t take long to heat the water. The look is beautiful. I had a lots of compliments of how nice it’s. And it’s larger than I thought. If you are looking for a good and beautiful tea kettle, this is it.

We purchased this kettle to replace one that took forever to boil. This kettle boils in under 5 minutes, and it’s beautiful! We have had it several weeks now, and with daily use we do not see any of the issues of condensation inside the thermometer nor peeling that other reviews state. I love this kettle.

This kettle is really nice and sleek looking, heats water very quickly while bottom electric element stays cool. I have been wanting one of these for a while and am not disappointed at all. Would recommend!
